Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has emerged as a top transfer target for Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan during this summer’s transfer window.

The Belgian international star is keen to join the Nerazzurri this summer despite the interest from the Italian duo of Juventus and Napoli.

The interest from Juventus and Napoli was revealed by popular Italian transfer news platform Calciomercato.

Lukaku has spent two seasons at Manchester United since his move from fellow Premier League outfit Everton.

According to the aforementioned publication, Romelu Lukaku has decided to join Inter Milan this summer ahead of Juventus and Napoli because he believes in the project at the San Siro.

The striker has faith in the new Inter Milan project under former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.

The Italian tactician became the Inter Milan manager earlier this summer on a three-year deal worth €10m per annum.

It was also revealed that Inter Milan directors Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are readying an offer of a season-long loan deal with the obligation to buy.

The total offer including the loan stands at €70m.

It remains to be seen whether his club will agree with the offer.

For now, Lukaku has resumed preseason at Manchester United.
