Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has explained why it’s not the right time for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho to make a big money move to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.
In an interview with German news outlet SportBild, former Manchester United striker Rooney advised Jadon Sancho to wait for his dream move to Manchester United.
Wayne Rooney plays his club football for Major League Soccer (MLS) club D.C. United at the moment.
According to him, Jadon Sancho could struggle with playing time at Manchester United and it’s better for him to stay at Borussia Dortmund beyond this summer.

Sancho, 19, was heavily linked with Manchester United at the start of this summer in a reported €100m deal but Borussia Dortmund were reluctant to do a deal for him for at least one season.
The England international star has been a key player for Borussia Dortmund since joining the club two years ago.
He scored 12 goals for Borussia Dortmund as the 1997 Champions League champions came close to winning the German Bundesliga title last season.
German champions Bayern Munich piped Borussia Dortmund to the Bundesliga title on the last day of the season as the Signa Iduna Park giants missed out on major honour despite having a nine-point lead in December.
