Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed that struggling midfielder Philippe Coutinho won’t leave the club this summer.
The Barcelona supremo talked about Philippe Coutinho during a press conference on Friday afternoon.
According to him, Brazilian international Coutinho won’t be leaving Barcelona despite the numerous transfer rumours linking him with a move back to the Premier League this summer.
The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move back to former club Liverpool as well as other Premier League sides like Chelsea and Manchester United.
Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool for Barcelona in a controversial manner in January 2018.

The former Inter Milan player moved to the Nou Camp in a deal said to be around £142m but he has not been able to live up to the hefty price tag.
Philippe Coutinho was the third most expensive transfer of all-time at that point and the Brazilian still remains in that position till date.
Only Neymar and Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint Germain) have been involved in more expensive transfers.
Apart from the Premier League clubs, Philippe Coutinho has also been linked with a move to the French capital.
Coutinho has won two La Liga titles and one Copa Del Rey title during his time at Barcelona.
