Former Blackpool midfielder Neil Woods has been appointed the coach of the u-23s at Premier League giants Manchester United.
His appointment as the head coach of the u-23 team at Old Trafford was confirmed earlier on Thursday.

Since his return to Old Trafford five years ago, Neil Woods has occupied various posts at Manchester United.
He has worked with the u-16 team, u-18 team and the u-23 team before his latest appointment as the head coach for the u-23s.
Neil Woods will work with another ex-Manchester United player Quinton Fortune in his new role with the youth team as part of the restructuring of the coaches at Manchester United as spearheaded by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Manchester United manager would be hoping for instant results on and off the pitch when the new season kicks off in the coming weeks.
For now, his focus will be on the signing of new players in addition to preparing the team for the new season.
