Arsenal skipper Laurent Koscielny has reportedly been identified as a possible transfer replacement for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly at Lyon during this summer’s transfer window.
French Ligue 1 giants Lyon want to sign a centre back this summer and they have made Ivorian international star Bailly their top transfer target but the bad news for the former French champions is that the player is not keen on the move.
Eric Bailly wants to stay at Manchester United despite the fact that he’s not guaranteed a regular spot in the starting XI.
He has spent three years at Manchester United since his move to the Theatre of Dreams from Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal.

Eric Bailly is presently out with the knee injury sustained towards the end of last season.
He missed out of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.
Lyon have already pencilled down alternatives for Eric Bailly and Laurent Koscielny is one of those centre back options.
Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen is the other alternative for Lyon.
French defender Koscielny has one year left on his current deal with the Gunners and he’s expected to leave the club this summer after contract talks broke down.
