Premier League club Crystal Palace have slapped an £100m price tag on star player Wilfried Zaha who has been strongly linked with a move to North London giants Arsenal this summer.

This is according to the report from the Daily Mail which revealed that the Gunners will have to pay a British record fee of £100m if they want to sign the former Manchester United player.

Crystal Palace are wary of the potential backlash from manager Roy Hodgson and the fans if they sell both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Wilfried Zaha this summer.

Manchester United have already signed Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace this summer.

His transfer from Crystal Palace to Manchester United was confirmed earlier on Saturday in a reported £50m deal including £5m in add-ons.

Wilfried Zaha could follow Aaron Wan-Bissaka out of Crystal Palace during this summer’s transfer window if the Gunners are able to meet up with the £100m asking price.

Recent reports had claimed that Arsenal are trying to raise funds for the transfer of Wilfried Zaha by selling topscorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal striker Aubameyang was the leading goalscorer for the Gunners from last season after the Gabonese international player netted 31 goals in all competitions including 22 goals in the Premier League.

Aubameyang won the Golden Boot in the Premier League alongside the Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
