Italian Serie A giants Juventus are set to complete the free transfer move of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Adrien Rabiot later this week.

According to the publication from the stables of popular English news channel Sky Sports, Juventus agreed on a salary with Rabiot and he’s expected to complete a move to the Italian champions when his PSG contract expires.

His PSG contract will expire on Sunday night.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici traveled to Paris on Friday to seal the deal for the player.

Rabiot was initially tipped to join Spanish champions Barcelona until the Nou Camp giants signed Dutch international star Frenkie De Jong from Ajax Amsterdam.

Barcelona agreed on a deal with Ajax for De Jong during the winter transfer window, but he’s not expected to join his new teammates until next month.

Adrien Rabiot is expected to join Juventus this week on a four-year deal thus becoming the second player to sign for the Old Lady on a free transfer after Aaron Ramsey.

Welshman Ramsey has signed for Juventus on a free transfer and on a four-year deal just like what’s obtainable with Adrien Rabiot.

During his time at PSG, French international Rabiot won five French Ligue 1 titles, four French Cup titles and five League Cup titles.
