The Chelsea defensive duo of Marcos Alonso and Davide Zappacosta are reportedly open to the idea of leaving the West London club this summer.

According to the report from the Daily Telegraph, Marcos Alonso and Davide Zappacosta have been linked with other clubs this summer.

The Chelsea duo also want to leave.

Marco Alonso has been strongly linked with a move to Atletico Madrid who are in the midst of a rebuilding job this summer.

Atletico Madrid have targeted Marcos Alonso as a direct replacement for Lucas Hernandez who has sealed a club-record €80m move to Bayern Munich.

Apart from Lucas Hernandez, Atletico Madrid will also lose long-term first choice left-back, Filipe Luis, after his contract expires later this month.

Veteran defenders Juanfran and Diego Godin will also leave Atletico Madrid this month upon the expiration of their respective contracts.

Davide Zappacosta the Italian international joined Chelsea from Italian Serie A side Torino in January 2017.

He has also been linked with a return to his native Italy this summer.
