New Manchester United signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka has set a new English record at the club upon his transfer from Crystal Palace.
The young English right-back sealed a £50m from Crystal Palace to Manchester United earlier on Saturday, thus making him the most expensive English player in the history of the club.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka broke the record set by Rio Ferdinand almost two decades ago when he moved from Leeds United to Manchester United in a deal reported to be around £29.1m.
Apart from being the most expensive English signing for the Red Devils, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also the fifth most expensive signing at Manchester United.

Only French midfielder Paul Pogba, Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, Argentine winger Angel Di Maria and Brazilian international Fred have joined Manchester United for more money.
Pogba, Lukaku and Fred are still at Old Trafford while Di Maria is no longer a Manchester United player after he left the club in 2015.
Angel Di Maria spent just one season at Manchester United following his £59.7m move from Real Madrid.
The Argentine left Manchester United for French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) after one season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the second signing of the summer for Manchester United after Welsh international winger Daniel James.
