Premier League giants Manchester United have sealed their second signing of the summer with the transfer for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 21-year-old has signed for an initial fee of £45m plus add-ons of £5m thus taking the transfer to the £50m mark.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the fifth most expensive signing in the history of Manchester United after Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Angel Di Maria and Fred.

Crystal Palace will retain a 10% sell-on clause in the player’s contract.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the second player to sign for Manchester United this summer after Daniel James.

Welsh international star Daniel James had earlier joined Manchester United this month after the Red Devils reached an agreement with English Championship club Swansea City for his transfer.

Manchester United will pay £18m including £3m in add-ons for Daniel James.

The Red Devils are still expected to sign more players this summer especially midfielders.

Manchester United have been strongly linked with Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes who broke the record for the most goals scored from midfield last season.

The 24-year-old scored 32 goals and also had 18 assists for the Portuguese Super League outfit in 53 games in all competitions as he helped the club win the Portuguese Cup title at the end of the season.
