13-time European champions Real Madrid have made Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen one of their midfield targets during this transfer window.

The Los Merengues are desperately in need of a creative midfielder and Danish international Christian Eriksen fits the bill.

Apart from the Spurs man, the likes of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and Real Betis star Giovanni Lo Celso have also been mentioned as potential midfield addition to the Real Madrid squad.

For Christian Eriksen, recent reports claimed that Real Madrid want a swap deal for him and they have submitted an offer of £45m in addition to one of their players Dani Ceballos.

The said offer was turned down by senior Tottenham Hotspur officials who have asked for a swap deal involving Marco Asensio.

Christian Eriksen has one year left on his Spurs contract and the North Londoners have to sell him or the player will walk away from the club as a free agent at the end of his Tottenham Hotspur contract next year.

Eriksen has already expressed his desire to see out his Spurs contract if a deal is not agreed for him with interested clubs like Real Madrid and Juventus.

Real Madrid Starting XI (4-3-3): Thibaut Courtois; Dani Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo; Toni Kroos, Christian Eriksen, Luka Modric; Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Karim Benzema.
