Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Three-time European champions Manchester United have reportedly made a major breakthrough in their quest to sign one of the best right-backs from the just concluded Premier League campaign.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka established himself as the undisputed first choice right-back at Crystal Palace ahead of former recipient Joel Ward and his performances for the Eagles in the English top flight elevated him to be one of the best right-backs in the league.

His impressive form attracted Manchester United and other major English clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City.

The Red Devils have been the most serious of the aforementioned Premier League giants and they have now agreed to a £55m deal for him.

This is according to the publication from popular English media portal Daily Record which revealed that their third bid for the player has been accepted.

Manchester United had earlier made a first bid of £40m including £5m in add-ons which was rejected immediately by Crystal Palace.

A second bid of £50m including £15m was also turned down by the South London club.

Manchester United will make Aaron Wan-Bissaka the most expensive right-back in the history of world football of they could complete his transfer this beating the record of English international right-back Kyle Walker who moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester City for £52m in 2017.
