English Premier League outfit Liverpool have been told that they must make two important signings in key positions to be able to win the league title in the coming season.
It would be recalled that the Reds team lost the EPL title for the second consecutive season to Man City as they finished second in each despite the big efforts in the just-concluded campaign.
Former center-forward Neil Mellor said the target for Liverpool is to win the English Premier League in the coming season and that will not happen until they strengthen key areas.

While Liverpool are yet to announce any new deal, they have confirmed the departures of England international Daniel Sturridge and Spanish defender Alberto Moreno.
The former forward admitted that Liverpool can boast of having a perfect starting eleven that can challenge for a title but they must also strengthen their bench as well.
He stated that there is a need to bring in a new striker and another left back to make the team stronger and also have a number of options as well.
The former forward stressed that Liverpool can boast of having a very good left back with Robertson but that will make no meaning if he does not have a back-up in case of an emergency.
