Three-time European champions Manchester United reportedly settled for the signing of Welsh international Daniel James after being priced out of a move for Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.
This is according to the report from the Daily Express which revealed that Daniel James is the Red Devils’ alternative to Ryan Fraser.
Daniel James has signed for Manchester United from English Championship club Swansea City in a deal reported to be around £22m including add-ons.
The 21-year-old burst onto the scene as a key player for Welsh club Swansea City during the just concluded campaign and he went on to produce 15 goal contributions.

He scored five goals and also provided ten assists for Swansea City during the just concluded season.
The aforementioned publication revealed that Manchester United dropped out of the race to sign Ryan Fraser from fellow Premier League club Bournemouth after they were quoted £40m for a player who has just one year left on his contract with the South Coast outfit.
The Red Devils had to turn their attention to Daniel James after the huge transfer fee demanded by Bournemouth.
Ryan Fraser scored seven goals and also provided 14 assists for Bournemouth during the latest Premier League season and he has been attracting the interest of clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal.
