Tammy Abraham

Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham has revealed that his decision to snub Wolves for a move to Aston Villa on a loan deal turned out to be the best for him.

Tammy Abraham made this claim after Aston Villa emerged winner of the Championship League to secure promotion to the English league top flight.

According to him, there were a number of interests from other clubs and Wolves had submitted an offer for him but he opted for Aston Villa.

The Blues striker played a vital role in Aston Villa’s return to the top flight by scoring 26 goals in a season which is the second time in his career.

Tammy Abraham admitted that his wish was not to play in the Championship, but he was left with no choice than to move to a place fit for him.

However, it is yet to be seen if the West London outfit will request for the return of Tammy Abraham for next season’s challenge at the Stamford Bridge or would allow him to remain with Aston Villa for more years.

But it is already being suggested that Tammy Abraham would be asked to return to Chelsea as the club will not be able to bring in new players as a result of the transfer ban.
