Revealed: Arsenal Make Enquiry For Top Serie A Goalie

North London giants Arsenal have reportedly made an enquiry for highly-rated AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

This is according to widespread reports emanating from the media in Italy.

The Gunners have identified Gianluigi Donnarumma as a possible replacement for veteran shot-stopper Petr Cech who will retire at the end of this season.

The ex-Czech Republic international had earlier announced that he will be hanging up his gloves when this campaign comes to an end.

Petr Cech is likely to play the final game of his professional football career when Arsenal face Chelsea in the Europa League final.

The former Chelsea goalkeeper has been the goalkeeper for the Europa League at Arsenal this season and he’s in line to start against his former club in the Europa League final billed for Baku, Azerbaijan.

Arsenal paid £22.5m to sign German international shot-stopper Bernd Leno last summer from Bayer Leverkusen FC in Germany and they could sign another one this summer.

According to the specific publication from Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato, Arsenal have a strong interest in the aforementioned Donnarumma.

It was also revealed that the Gunners will have to pay over £60m to secure his signing from seven-time European champions AC Milan this summer.
