North London giants Arsenal have concluded plans to offload at least three underperforming players during this summer’s transfer window after the Europa League debacle in Baku.

According to the report from the Daily Mirror, Gunners boss Unai Emery wants to offload the trio of Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shkrodan Mustafi this summer in a bid to raise money for new players.

Arsenal will miss out on the Champions League for the third straight season after the disastrous result posted in the Europa League final.

The Gunners were thumped 4-1 by Chelsea in their Europa League final clash played on Wednesday night in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The aforementioned publication said that Arsenal have just £40m to spend on transfers and that Unai Emery will have to raise money by offloading players.

Champions League football would have given the Arsenal manager more money to spend on transfers this summer.

Unai Emery has one year left on his contract and he has decided to be ruthless in the final year of his current Arsenal deal by selling the underperforming players in his team.

Mesut Ozil has divided opinions especially under the Unai Emery era and Arsenal are ready to push him out on loan or on a permanent deal to Inter Milan.

The Gunners will have to subsidize his £350,000 weekly pay for the move to happen.

Unai Emery also wants to sell both Mkhitaryan and Mustafi.
