Italian Serie A giants Napoli are no longer in the running for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier.
This is according to the report from The Sun which claimed that the Italians considered a move for the England international right-back but decided to opt out of any potential transfer since he has no resale value.
Napoli are in the market for a new right-back this summer and Kieran Trippier has been heavily linked with the Champions League campaigners until now.
The 28-year-old is no longer on their transfer shortlist as they have decided to go after younger right-backs in their quest to sign a new right-sided defender.

Apart from Napoli, Kieran Trippier has previously been linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United but the Red Devils have also switched their attention to a younger defender in Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Red Devils are already preparing a £25m for the Eagles right-back.
Trippier might have to spend at least another season with Tottenham Hotspur as things stand.
Apart from the preference for younger right-back options from the likes of Manchester United and Napoli, Spurs have also slapped a €40m asking price which is on the high side for a player knocking on the door of age 30.
