North London giants Arsenal will have to look elsewhere for a new midfielder after it was revealed that Aston Villa are closing in on one of their targets.

Despite his form for Charlton Athletic, Joe Aribo is expected to leave the Addicks on a free transfer this summer.
The 22-year-old joined Charlton Athletic from Staines Town four years ago.
According to The Sun, Aston Villa are closing in on a free transfer move for the young midfielder ahead of other interested clubs.
The Scottish Premiership duo of Rangers and Celtic are also keen on a move for the Charlton Athletic midfielder.
Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the player.
