Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham is banging goals from every angle for championship side Aston Villa and that has reportedly caught Maurizio Sarri’s attention.
The young England international scored two goals against QPR to bring his tally to 16 League goals this season and reports are suggesting the Italian manager is hoping to bring the quality striker back to Stamford Bridge this month.
The Blues strikers were complacent in front of goal during the first period of the season.
Morata is back to the player we saw under Conte as he has scored just six goals in 18 Premier League games.
Giroud is out due to injury, hence, Sarri is reportedly hoping to recall the former Bristol City’s starlet from loan later in the month.
However, the Villa Park manager Dean Smith said the Blues are not planning to end Abraham’s loan deal in an abrupt manner.
While speaking to reporters after the player’s two-goal performance, Dean said he’s happy with Abraham’s goal scoring form and can’t afford to lose him to Chelsea.
He also said that Sarri won’t put an end to Abraham’s awesome form by making him return to Stamford Bridge where regular game-time is not guaranteed.
- ”And Chelsea seem very happy as well because he’s developing as a player and scoring in this league. For all three parties it’s a win-win at the moment so I’d be amazed if anything happened
to stop that.” he told reporters
Meanwhile, it was reported last month via Sky Sports that the west London club are likely to recall Michy Batshuayi from his unsuccessful loan spell at Valencia.
The Belgian hasn’t done enough to get a regular first-team action with the Spanish side, therefore, Sarri wants him at Stamford Bridge this January to help solve his goalscoring problem.
