Emery Delight: Arsenal Boss Hails Team Character In Big Win
Arsenal manager Unai Emery was delighted with his team’s performance against his former club Valencia in their Europa League meeting on Thursday night.
The Spanish tactician hailed his team’s character in his post-match press conference after the Gunners came from behind to beat Valencia 4-2 in what was the second leg of their Europa League semifinal tie.
The Spaniard had earlier masterminded a 3-1 win for the Gunners in the first leg held at the Emirates Stadium last week.
Valencia made a big step towards overturning the first leg deficit by taking the lead in the second leg through Kevin Gameiro.

The French international gave the hosts the said lead after ten minutes before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled proceedings seven minutes later to put Arsenal back in firm control of the tie.
Arsenal took the Europa League semifinal tie beyond the reach of their Spanish opponents in the second half with a goal from Alexandre Lacazette.
Valencia levelled the game on the night through a second goal from the aforementioned Gameiro before two goals in the last quarter wrapped up the tie courtesy Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabonese international has now scored 29 goals in all competitions with the treble against Valencia.
Arsenal will face Chelsea in the final billed for Baku, Azerbaijan on May 29.
