North London giants Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost ahead of their all-important Premier League clash with Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
This is as a result of the news that Gunners skipper Laurent Koscielny will return to their starting XI for the aforementioned Everton game.
The retired French international centre back missed the last league game against Newcastle United on Monday night with a bruised foot.
Without Koscielny, Arsenal were able to negotiate a tricky looking fixture against the Magpies.
Arsenal beat Newcastle United 2-0 at home to cement their place in the top four on the Premier League table.
The Gunners initially scored through Aaron Ramsey only for centre referee Anthony Taylor to disallow the goal for a foul on Newcastle United defender Florian LeJeune by Arsenal centre back Sokratis Papasthathopoulos.
Ramsey was not to be denied later in the first half after the Welsh international gave the Gunners the lead on the half-hour mark off an assist from Alexandre Lacazette.
French international Lacazette wrapped up the points for the Gunners to lift the North Londoners to the third spot on the table.
Arsenal have since dropped to the fourth position after North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace 2-0 on Wednesday night though a win over Everton will take them above Spurs.
