German Bundesliga clubs are reportedly plotting a move for highly-rated Arsenal forward Sam Greenwood.
This is according to widespread reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.
Sam Greenwood has impressed a great deal with the Arsenal youth teams since the Gunners signed him from League One club Sunderland last summer.
The young Arsenal forward has been tipped for great things with the first team at the Emirates Stadium.
The specific report from The Sun revealed the interest of the German clubs and that the Gunners could be forced to fast-track the 17-year-old into the Arsenal first team as a result of.
For now, Sam Greenwood will stay with the youth teams at Arsenal as the Gunners try to secure a return to Champions League football after a two-year absence.
Arsenal have two routes in their bid to achieve their target for this season.
The Gunners can secure Champions League football either by the league route or by the Europa League route.
Arsenal have to win the Europa League to get into the Champions League and they are well on their way to winning the competition having established a 3-1 first leg lead over Valencia in their semifinal tie ahead of the second leg in Spain next week Thursday.
The Gunners can also qualify for the competition via a top-four finish in the league.
They are two points of adrift of London rivals Chelsea in fourth spot with two games left.
