Arsenal manager Unai Emery is keen to strengthen his squad this summer as he tried to revamp the Gunners team left by long-serving manager Arsene Wenger.
Frenchman Wenger ended his 22-year association last summer after he resigned from his job with the Gunners despite the fact that he had one year left on the new two-year contract extension that he signed at the start of last season.
Unai Emery replaced Wenger as the Arsenal manager last summer after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal and the Spaniard has been tasked with the rebuilding job at the Emirates Stadium.
He brought in five players during last summer’s transfer window before securing the loan transfer of Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez during last month’s transfer window.
Spanish international Denis Suarez will stay with Arsenal for the remainder of the season with the option of a pennant transfer in the summer.
He’s expected to bolster his squad in the summer with reports claiming that Unai Emery will target at least three new signings in the summer.
According to the report from Football Talk, Unai Emery wants a new left-back, a central defender and a new winger though it was revealed that he has just £45m to spend this summer.
