Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reported to have rejected the job at Madrid in what as turned out to be a big surprise to many.
A lot has been speculated on the Real Madrid job after manager Julen Lopetegui saw his side being thrashed 5 – 1 by Barcelona in the first El Clasico clash.
The game was reported to be the last for the Spanish manager with talks believed to have been concluded with Conte over his signing and unveiling this week.
Chelsea were also included in the deal with Real Madrid according to reports as the Spanish giants were alleged to have contacted the West London side to sort out its legal battle with the Italian boss so as to ensure a quick resolution for his move.
However, Conte is reported to have had a change of mind in joining the Los Blancos over reasons that he might find it difficult to have control over the players and most importantly, win the heart of the players.
The Italian is believed to have got some information on the thought of some of the players at the Bernabeu and he will not be willing to take the risk so as to keep his respect and integrity intact.
