Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly ready to step up their interest in Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
The Daily Express claim that Barcelona officials have already compiled a dossier on the England international star and they have concluded plans to make a move for him in a bid to secure his transfer ahead of other interested parties like arch rivals Real Madrid and Italian giants AC Milan.
Marcus Rashford’s long-term future at Manchester United is far from secure with his contract set to expire at the end of the 2020/21 season.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will be open to the idea of letting the 21-year-old leave the club.
Marcus Rashford has found form in the last few months.
He was one of the best players of the last matches of the managerial reign of Jose Mourinho at the club.
Rashford has scored two goals and provided four assists in the last five games in the Premier League.
He was one of the goalscorers as Manchester United started the new managerial reign of former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a win.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring as the Red Devils thrashed Cardiff City 5-1 in front of their home fans in a week 18 game in the Premier League.
