English Premier League side Chelsea are not giving up on Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake as they seek to hijack Manchester United’s move for the star player.

The West London side will find it easy by activating his buy-buy clause which means they have the first option to have his signature, leaving United as being unable to win the race.

Nathan Ake joined Bournemouth from the Stamford Bridge for £20 million but they sought for a buy-back clause in the deal which will have them pay double of £40 million.

However, the star player has been impressive so far this season which makes the Blues side turn their attention to him knowing that English international Gary Cahill, David Luiz could be on their way out.

The West London side are therefore confident of beating Man United who are also keen for the star player.

The Red Devils are reported to be seeking to his signature as well so as to solve their defensive crisis which resulted in the bad results they had under former manager Jose Mourinho.

Therefore the Old Trafford are left with no choice than to await the West London side if they will be interested in the star player or let him be.
