North London giants Arsenal have surprisingly been offered the opportunity to sign Felipe Anderson from fellow Premier League club West Ham United.
This was revealed by a Daily Mirror publication which stated that the Gunners were offered a mouth-watering deal.
Arsenal were told to pay just £5m to have the player on loan for the new season scheduled to start later this month.
Mikel Arteta is the Gunners boss and the Spaniard is said to be a big fan of the Brazilian international.

Felipe Anderson has seen his West Ham United career stuck in a spot especially after a disappointing campaign last season. His output was poor in comparison to the previous campaign which was his first season at the London Stadium following his £42m transfer from Lazio in the Italian Serie A.
Felipe Anderson was one of the best players in the West Ham squad in his first season at the club but he has not been able to maintain that level of performance.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal and Mikel Arteta will take up the loan signing of the Brazilian winger.
For now, Felipe Anderson remains a West Ham United footballer though the Hammers could still cash in on him between now and the rest of the transfer window.
