Manchester United fans might have been dealt a huge transfer blow following the news that the club won’t sign any player during the current winter transfer window.
According to the publication from the Manchester Evening News (MEN), Manchester United prefer to wait till the summer for their transfer targets to be available at reasonable fees rather than sign players for unreasonable transfer fees.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bolster his squad this month but that might not be possible.
Solskjaer will have to deal with an ailing midfield due to the injuries to both Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.

The Norwegian tactician was initially hopeful of getting some signings ahead of the rest of this season but that won’t be possible according to the aforementioned publication from MEN.
The lack of signings means that Manchester United will block the exit of Serbian international midfielder Nemanja Matic due to the injuries to Pogba and McTominay.
Nemanja Matic has been linked with major European clubs like Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
The Serbian has six months left on his present contract with the Red Devils.
He has played the last two games in the Premier League against Burnley and Arsenal.
