Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Liverpool on Sunday and the Red Devils players were happy with the result. Marcus Rashford’s goal gave the home side the lead in the first half of the game but Lallana’s 85th minute strike denied them the chance of recording a famous victory over the longtime rivals.
As much as picking up a point from the encounter will play a huge role in boosting the team’s morale, United manager Solskjaer will be pleased with his players’ display against the high-flying Liverpool.
United players took to Twitter to react to the outcome of the encounter and here are some of their tweets.
