Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is said to be in disagreement with board members, including club president Florentino Perez, over whom to sign between Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen.

According to popular media channel ESPN, Zidane is keen for the club to sign Paul Pogba and he’s bound to have another issue with Real Madrid president and the board members who are tilting towards the aforementioned Eriksen.

Real Madrid were linked with the two players in the summer but it was difficult to do a deal for at least one of the Premier League stars after the Spanish La Liga giants spent over 275 million pounds on player transfers.

Zidane is a big fan of Paul Pogba and he championed his pursuit ahead of Christian Eriksen favored by Florentino Perez and the Real Madrid officials.

According to the aforementioned publication, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will push for the signing of Christian Eriksen when the transfer indie reopens in January but the player wants a free transfer move away from Tottenham Hotspur at the end of this season.

He has less than one year left on his current deal at Spurs.

Christian Eriksen will certainly demand for a princely sign-on fee for a free transfer next summer but Real Madrid would prefer to pay a transfer fee for him in January.
