German champions Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to meet the asking price for Juventus defender Joao Cancelo this summer.
This is according to the publication from Italian transfer news portal Calciomercato which revealed that the Bavarian giants want to sign the Portuguese right-back.
Bayern Munich have joined Premier League champions Manchester City in the race to sign Chelsea target Joao Cancelo who is almost certain to leave Juventus this summer after just one season in Turin.
Joao Cancelo became a Juventus player last summer after joining from Spanish La Liga club Valencia.

He was thought to be edging closer to a move with Premier League champions Manchester City until the recent development from Bayern Munich.
The Bavarian giants have shown the willingness to meet his €50m valuation as they try to sign a replacement for Brazilian right-back Rafinha who has left the club upon the expiration of his contract at the Allianz Arena.
Just like what’s obtainable with Bayern Munich, Manchester City are also in need of cover at right-back for first choice Kyle Walker.
Brazilian utility player Danilo has provided cover for Kyle Walker for the better part of the last two years but the player has decided to leave the Citizens this summer.
