Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has sounded a note of warning to in-form Chelsea ahead of their league clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will go into the Premier League clash scheduled to take place on Saturday lunchtime as huge favourites but Giggs believes that Manchester United pose their own attacking threat and that the Blues can’t afford to underrate or underestimate the Red Devils.
Ryan Giggs currently occupies the Welsh national team manager’s position and he spoke about the league game between Chelsea and Manchester United while he was on popular English TV news channel Sky Sports as reported by goal.
The 44-year-old further stated that the 3-2 comeback victory over Newcastle United from their last league game would have given Manchester United a real confidence boost for the Chelsea game at the weekend.
The Manchester United trio of Juan Manuel Mata, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez were on target in the second half to help the Red Devils overturn a 2-0 deficit against the Magpies.
Newcastle United had gone two goals ahead through strikes from Kenedy and Yoshinori Muto.
The victory ended a four-game winless run for Manchester United and also went a long way to ease the pressure on manager Jose Mourinho.
