Pennsylvania residents eligible for the property tax/rent rebate program can expect to receive their rebates starting July 3.

Who is eligible for this Property Tax Rebate?
To qualify for the program, you must be:
- 65 or older.
- A widow or widower 50 or older.
- A person with disabilities 18 or older.
- You must also have an annual income of $35,000 or less for homeowners and $15,000 or less for renters. Half of your social security income is excluded from the income calculation.
The average rebate amount is about $650. But some homeowners may get $975 as supplement rebates.
In addition, one day, this tax rebate may reach $1000. But it still needs to be clarified.
