Virgin River Season 5: A disappointing update about the show

As all of us know that the show Virgin River hit our screens back in 2019 and has become one of the favorite shows on Netflix.

However, after the successful run of the first three seasons, the show was renewed for the fourth and fifth seasons and the last September.

Now the fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of both seasons, which were promised to be filmed back to back.

But here is BAD news for them: the show’s star lady Alexandra Breckenridge has revealed some disappointment regarding the future of the show.

She spoke in an Instagram Live that “We were supposed to start [filming season five] in March, but it was pushed so… I don’t know. I don’t know man. I’m hoping that maybe we’ll start in the summer. It would be nice to film in Vancouver in the summer rather than the winter.”

However, Alexandra Breckenridge revealed that season 5 had been postponed and delayed for no reason.

Moreover, she added about the weather in Canada that “To be quite frank with you guys, I’m pretty done filming in Vancouver in the winter.

Not really interested in doing that ever again, actually. It’s really cold. And when you’re standing outside in sandals, and little outfits because it’s supposed to be the middle of summer … not awesome!”

Moreover, Alexandra always used to share behind-the-scenes clips with the fans, and in December, she has delighted her fams with the news that season 4 filming had been wrapped up for her.

She revealed, ” Alongside a Boomerang clip that “That’s a wrap!!!! Season 4 Virgin River is complete for me. For those [who] don’t know, ‘WF’ means work finish,”

Moreover, we also know that the filming of the fourth season has already been completed for most of the actors. However, it has not been aired, but most of the time, the most loved series filming starts in November and ends in December.

Which means most of them are shot in the later months of the year. The previous season was wrapped up in December and was released in July.

So it means we will soon have it on our TV screens, but we have to wait a bit longer for season 5.
