We’re excited to see what Apple’s got planned for its iPad Mini 6. The device will feature thinner bezels and a much-needed Home button redesign. Both of which should give users an edge over their competition when they finally hit shelves this fall.

The iPad mini 6 is set to be released in the fall, but Apple hasn’t nailed down a specific launch date yet. The company is expected to hold an event in September; we can expect them to release a new iPhone 13 and new wearables (Apple Watch Series 7).

However, there’s no word about the ‌iPad mini‌ 6 at this time. We might see it come out around October or November instead of with other products during their September event!

iPad Mini 6 Expected Features

The ‌iPad mini‌ 6 will feature a larger edge-to-edge display, the absence of a Home button, and likely adopt USB Type C with no replacement for Lightning. As well as these changes, it is expected to include Touch ID power buttons along with Apple’s Smart Connector. Which could be used with compatible accessories like their Magic Keyboard.

Apple fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Apple’s new iPad mini 6, which will reportedly come with an A14 chip. This is significant because according to rumors, it’s also what you can expect in this year’s iPhone lineup!

Rumors have suggested that a mini-LED iPad is on its way. The first mini-LED screen iPads will be produced in the next six months, and among these new devices was supposed to include a 7.9-inch version of the tablet as well!

Ming-Chi Kuo from TFI Securities said this rumor seems more accurate because Apple has been reluctant with redesigning its tablets before. But upgrading its display technology would make for an excellent competitor against OLED displays seen on other brands’ smartphones today.

Mini LED screens are known for having improved contrast and image quality over standard LCDs. Which are already used by many popular companies including Apple itself. Which makes them ideal choices going forward into 2021 when they’re scheduled to come out.

iPadOS 15 will come pre-installed on the iPad mini 6, which adds a number of new features. The updated Safari web browser now supports multitasking with multiple tabs open at once and an improved Apple Pencil experience. That can be used in any text field such as when writing messages or browsing online articles.

iPad Mini 6 Expected Price

Currently, there is no information to suggest that Apple will increase the prices of their upcoming new product, the iPad Mini 6.

This means it’s possible we’ll see a similar pricing structure with slightly larger storage space than its predecessor at around $399-$550 per device option depending on the variant.
