The iPad Mini 6 is expected to launch soon, and one of the first concepts for the device has been created by ConceptCreator Michael Ma(@apple_idesigner). The concept gives us a glimpse at what Apple’s latest tablet could look like.
Apple’s upcoming iPad Mini 6 is expected to have a design similar to the Apple iPad Pro Series or the latest iPad Air 4. Rumors say it will come with reduced bezels and upgraded internals, which makes this tab one of its kind in terms of size and performance.
The iPad Mini 6 is expected to be a compact and sleek tablet, similar in design to the most recent iPads. The upcoming device will offer upgraded internals as well as reduced bezels on all sides of its screen for better viewing experiences.
The Mini 6 Concept renders shows a new tablet with an 8.4-inch Liquid Retina Display and will use only 60Hz displays, which is less than what the iPad Pro. The dimensions of this device are 206 x 138 x 6.1mm
The iPad Mini 6 concept shows Apple might have new ideas for the way it will implement Touch ID. Since they removed the Home button, we can assume that their plan is to use a fingerprint scanner on the Power Button instead of integrating one into the screen like most companies do today.
Not only does this make more sense as your fingers would naturally land there when you pick up a tablet. If this becomes widely popular in future models then iOS users want all devices with power buttons. Which are many to be able touchless scanning enabled without having to upgrade or purchase an external product; so why not start now?
The new Mini 6 is expected to have a similar color scheme as the Air 4, with options like sky blue and rose gold. It’s almost impossible to tell what the new Mini 6 will retail at until Apple announces it. But speculations are that prices could range between $449 and $499.
