It was another excellent game for Burnley clinching their spot for FA Cup fifth round as the Clarets were up against Fulham’s Championship side.

The home side failed to cause an upset, and a low display of tactics saw them was unable to qualify for the next round. Mitrovic, the striker, was close to open the scoring after his goal was disallowed. Kamara was offside during the open field play, and nothing much happened in 2nd half.

Recently, the visitors defeated Liverpool at Anfield, breaking their record of 68 games with a loss and kept their winning run to qualify for the next round. They will be meeting either Bournemouth or Crawley Town. This match tie will take place on Jan 26th.

In the 31st minute, Rodriguez opened the scoring with Jack Cork’s cross, and the keeper failed to save the impressive header. Rodriguez extended his lead with a second goal by converting the penalty.

Nothing much came from the host side as the Clarets scored the 3rd goal courtesy of Long. Rodriguez assisted one goal and scored 2; he was undoubtedly the man of the match.

Sean Dyche’s side got their second penalty in 4 days’ time period. He described it as “I was shocked” because his team average 2 in 24 games before it.
