English Premier League outfit Manchester United are reported to be considering a move for out-of-favor Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante after making an inquiry about his availability.

The 29-year-old World Cup winner has been linked away from the West London club as he can no longer boast of regular playing time under manager Frank Lampard.

Chelsea are willing to let go of the former Leicester City man but will not let him leave for a cheaper price than £46 million as a lot has been invested in him.

The Blues are also keen on the signature of West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice and will want to offload the French midfielder to be able to bring in the Englishman.

However, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now considering the option of signing him if an agreement would be reached with the West London club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants an extra muscle to his midfield that will help Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek and N’Golo Kante is being considered as an option.

The only uncertainty is the fact that the £46 million might be too high for the Red Devils to meet and that could force them to back out of the deal in January.
