There are reports that Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is keen to sanction the sale of two defenders in other to bring in some quality players in January.

The Red Devils enough quality players in the summer window for reasons unknown, despite earlier hinting that this window will be a very busy one.

Diogo Dalot and Marcos Rojo are the two players not needed by the Red Devils, Ed Woodward who is at the centre of transfer activities for the club claims that both players did not satisfactory service.

Ed Woodward wants to cash in the sum of £30 million from the sale of the two players and will be ready to listen to offers from their suitors.

While Diogo Dalot has been demoted in the Manchester United team and Marcos Rojo is in his final season, both players are worth £22 million and £8 million respectively.

Manchester United can boast of the quality of Harry Maguire at the defence but are seriously in the lookout for another centre-half that will partner him as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is willing to compete and win titles this season.
