Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been told by the club Ray Parlour to take a gamble in the summer transfer window to be able to fire the club to success in the coming season.

The Gunners team have lost touch with Champions League football for a number of seasons and that is still counting as they will not be seen in the coming season. This development limits their status as a big side which the club legends are unhappy about, the reason why they have continued to lend their voices.

Ray Parlour noted the need to engage in the coming summer transfer window to buy quality players that will help to compete, stressing that the only magic that can be done is for the Spanish boss to be supported with funds to spend in the summer window.

He urged Arsenal to be less bothered about the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic and take the gamble to recruit

“Investment will be very important,” Parlour told The Sun. “To get back into the Champions League, which is massive revenue; it probably takes a bit of a gamble. More quality of players.” He stressed

Howbeit, the Gunners boss has already called on the club management to support the team with funds so he can begin the rebuilding process, even before the start of next season.
