This is the first time the words of legendary manager Alex Ferguson would be heard on the future of his former player, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United manager.

The last few weeks have been difficult for the Norweigian boss as he failed to grab positive results for the team and that mounted pressure on his job.

Manchester United suffered numerous defeats in the Premier League and another in the Champions League, adding to the fact that they did not win in their last four home games.

The team have responded well with some few wins in the English Premier League and Champions league. Manchester United now boast of 10 points in seven games.

However, his job has already been linked away with former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino tipped to take over  as Manchester United manager.

He has also made it clear that he is ready to start immediately when asked about the possibility.

The reported sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might not happen again with Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly given his support to him, latest win has also calmed the pressure.

Alex Ferguson will not forget how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sealed late wins for him in his playing days, including his infamous goal in 1999 which helped the team with the treble to add to Manchester United history.

The legendary manager believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has all it takes to manage Manchester United, as revealed by a diehard Red Devils fan and friend of Alex Ferguson, Eamonn Holmes.

Eamonn Holmes revealed that Alex Ferguson had told him long before now that of all the players he had in his team, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be a manager.

Expressing confidence in his prediction, the legendary boss explains that his former player always reads the game when he is on the bench.
