Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are reportedly ready to offer Ousmane Dembele a new contract that will have him stay at the club for more years.
This is against the initial wish of the club to let go of the France international in the last summer transfer window with Man United making efforts in the last days of the window for a long move but failed.
The Catalans were reported to be annoyed by the decision of the star player to remain at the club without finding a new team when he has been told that he is not part of the plan for the season.
Ousmane Dembele was down in the pecking order with the revelation of Ansu Fati at the Camp Nou as he struggled for playing time, even under new manager Ronald Koeman.

It is now reported that Barcelona want to hand him a new contract with his current deal running out in 2022. This has been linked with the injury of Ansu Fati as he will not be in action for the long term and needs to be replaced.
Ousmane Dembele is the next point of call from the Catalans chief and they are left with no option than to hand him a new deal to be able to enjoy his service for more years.
Mundo Deportivo reports that the Spanish La Liga giants are serious about the latest development, after agreeing with manager Ronald Koeman and they are reported hoping to begin negotiations with the French forward soon.
However, Ousmane Dembele has never wanted to leave the Spanish La Liga giants anytime soon and this gives him the opportunity of fulfilling his dream at the club but that is a big blow to the Red Devils who are reportedly planning to bring him to Old Trafford in January.
