It is feared that English Premier League giants Arsenal will miss out on the signature of Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai with Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid now reported to have joined the race.

The 20-year-old started his cater with the Austrian second division side, Liefering, a feeder club to RB Salzburg, before moving into his new team during the 2017/18 campaign.

His impressive performance has attracted a lot of clubs with the North London outfit hoping to land him as an alternative for Lyon star Houssem Aouar in the coming summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old has made 40 appearances for them last season, as he got 12 goals and 18 assists in all competitions to make him of the hottest youngsters in the world.

He started this season with the same level of form, having scored five goals and nine assists from 13 outings, which includes two goals in the Champions League group stage.

However, the North London outfit will face big competition from top clubs in Europe with Spanish outlet AS reporting that Real Madrid are now also very keen to sign him.

Real Madrid are also in search of a replacement for Isco, as the star player has fallen out of favour with manager Zinedine Zidane at Bernabeu.

The Spanish giants have also learned that Dominik Szoboszlai has a release clause of £25m which is cheap enough for the caliber of player that he is but it is feared that it could be increased because of the competition for his services.

It is feared that the North London outfit will be muscled out of the race as Real Madrid plans to offer a luring contract to the wonderkid.
