Manchester United slam Brescia president over transfer comment

Brescia president Massimo Cellino had claimed that Manchester United made an offer for Sandro Tonali last summer  but they were rejected and that has been denied by the Red Devils.

Sandro Tonali has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for the past months with speculations that an offer could be made for his signature but he he later joined Italian Serie A outfit, AC Milan on loan.

Brescia president had claimed that the offer submitted by the Red Devils was £10 million higher than what AC Milan offered but the player was not interested in a move to Old Trafford.

It was also reported that the agent of the 20-year-old talented player has advised him not to leave Serie A for the Premier League so as not to temper with his growth and development.

However, Manchester United have come out to slam Massimo Cellino, insisting that they did not make any offer for the player, as reported by Manchester Evening News.

Howbeit, Manchester United are strategizing for the coming transfer dealings after they secured 5 notable transfer last summer.
