EPL outfit Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has given the hint that he will be leaving the West London club to Italy anytime in the future.

Emerson Palmieri maintained that he is happy with his stay at the Stamford Bridge, and he is calm in the team but he will not retire at the club.

The Italian defender has made 59 appearances across all competitions for the Blues since joining the club from AS Roma for £18 million ($23m) in January 2018.

The 26-year-old might have had enough to be considering a move away after winning the FA Cup and Europa. He has gone down the pecking order as he is yet to play any Premier League game for the Blues this season.

Reacting to the speculations over his future, Emerson Palmier said he is calm and enjoying his stay with the Blues team, admitting that he received interest from several clubs as he stressed that there are offers outside Italy.
“Unfortunately I am not playing much at Chelsea, but I am calm and I think things will improve, whether that is in London or elsewhere. How coach talked to me, he told me that the best thing is to play, let’s see what happens in two months if I have a place at Chelsea or for another team. We will see.”

However, Chelsea might not stand in the way of the Italian if he wants to leave because of the options available in the team. At the moment, he is not starting games under Frank Lampard.

Meanwhile, the West London outfit will have to replace Emerson Palmieri as soon as he leaves as he he currently serving as a cover in the team.
