Man United legend and Wales national team manager Ryan Giggs landed in a Police cell after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and has since then been released.
The Police had to storm his £1.7million home in Worsley over the weekend to investigate the alleged incident of assaulting his girlfriend. The security agents were invited by neighbours who felt they were being disturbed with noise.
Ryan Giggs was allegedly arrested that night on suspicion of two counts of assault against his partner, Kate Greville but was released on bail terms.
A representative for the former Red Devils star said the allegations were denied by the Wales national team boss as he cooperated with police during the questioning.

The statement said: “Mr Giggs denies all allegations of assault made against him. He is cooperating with the police and will continue to assist them with their ongoing investigations.”
The incident was confirmed by a Greater Manchester Police spokesman who said: “Police were called at 10.05pm on Sunday to reports of a disturbance. A woman in her 30s sustained minor injuries but did not require any treatment.
“A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 47 assault and section 39 common assault.”
It is reported that Ryan Giggs was at Hotel Football in Greater Manchester earlier in the day to watch Manchester United’s match against Arsenal after he was cited there.
Man United eventually lost the game at Old Trafford by 1-0 and it is yet to be ascertained if the result of the game played a part in raising Ryan Giggs’s emotions to have been involved in the alleged fight with his girlfriend.
Aside from being the Wales national team manager, Ryan Giggs is known to be a big critic of his former club as he is most often invited as a pundit for Premier League games.
