French international midfielder Paul Pogba had to watch major part of the game from the bench when Manchester United played against Everton in the early Saturday fixtures.

The Red Devils defeated the Merseyside outfit Everton by 3-1 after coming from a goal down to snatch all three points with the win. This is a statement that they have returned to winning ways.

Dropping Paul Pogba was a bit of less concern than the statement credited to Manchester United boss over what could continue to happen at the club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was impressed with the form of his team at Goodison Park, with plenty of challenges, hints he would continue with the same crop of players and formation.

The three midfielders that started the game are Scott McTominay, Fred and man of the match, Bruno Fernandes.

He could have concluded to play them as his first team.

“If we can get this determination, mindset, approach every single game, we’ll be hard to play against,” said Solskjaer.

“You see all the tackles that Scott and Fred were winning in the middle there. We’re tight, we’re compact, we win the ball, we play, we’ve got spaces, that’s how we want to see these boys. So we’re very pleased with that.”

Should these pointers be true, the World Cup winner will be having more bench roles which is a dent to his career at the club and the beginning of the end of his stay at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba has been severally linked with a move away from the Red Devils and this might be the time to make it happen if he will no longer get playing time.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are also reported to be backing the World Cup winner but how long can they keep him in England
