France international midfielder N’Golo Kante has been rumoured to leave Chelsea any moment from the January transfer window with speculations linking him to other clubs.

N’Golo Kante was linked with a move to Man United and Arsenal in the last summer transfer window while the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain were on his case for a possible deal.

He was not having a good time at Stamford Bridge under former manager Maurizio Pochettino while his natural position was changed. All of these affected his playing time and performance to have unsettled him from the club.

That might have been settled after he reportedly held talks with manager Frank Lampard and was told how important he is to the team and he needs for him to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Although, N’Golo Kante has enjoyed some minutes and a starting role under Frank Lampard this season but that has not stopped speculations about his future at the club.

Respected transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has spoken on his Here We Go Podcast and revealed that the West London outfit are not interested in selling the World Cup winner.

He also added that Frank Lampard held talks with N’Golo Kante last week about his future and they have both agreed to work together for the next couple of years.

“Frank Lampard spoke with N’Golo Kante about his future last week. Lampard told Kante he is important to his plans and he wants to keep him” Fabrizio Romano revealed.

However, the Blues team have been having impressive performances and results for the past weeks in both the Champions League and the Premier League.

They won their third consecutive game in the European tournament on Wednesday night against Rennes by 3-0. Chelsea owner has made it clear that he will not invest in the signing of an attacker or midfielder in the January transfer window.
