Transfer news specialist Fabrizio Romano has disclosed what is stopping Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho from leaving the club to join Premier League heavyweights Manchester United.
Manchester United have made the signing of Jadon Sancho their major priority this summer. As a matter of fact, the 20-year-old has been on their radar for the better part of the last two years.
Contrary to various reports in the media, Manchester United and Jadon Sancho’s representatives had agreed personal terms and agent fees some months back as per Fabrizio Romano.

The Germans won’t release the player if the Red Devils don’t meet their €120m valuation of Jadon Sancho who has three years left on his present contract.
Manchester United have made just one signing in this transfer window as the club continue to be optimistic that they can pull off the Jadon Sancho transfer.
Man United not close on Telles deal? Eye alternative
Man United might not be close to wrapping up a deal for FC Porto left-back Alex Telles as they are still in negotiation with the Portuguese club over a fee for the player.
It is understood that the Red Devils have already agreed on personal terms with the player but the fee has been a major challenge to wrapping up the deal for the past days.

However, it is believed that the situation will progress as soon as a fee is agreed and the final paper works will be done without wasting much time but what is unknown is if FC Porto will agree to lower their demands or if the Red Devils will up their bid for Alex Telles as that will determine if a deal will happen or not.
Meanwhile, Man United are not leaving anything to chance in their bid to land a left-back and this has been exposed by a Manchester Evening News which claims that they are already eyeing another left-back.
The report claims that the Red Devils will immediately move in for Brazilian and Dynamo Kyiv’s Vitality Mykolenko if an agreement is not reached with FC Porto because they are desperate to have an option in that position.
No change in Chris Smalling situation
Man United might be playing tactics to keep Chris Smalling at the club for the new season especially now that they are yet to find a new centre-back that will partner Harry Maguire this season.
It would be recalled that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was quick to shower praises on Chris Smalling as soon as he returned from Italy on his season-long loan, stressing that he has improved in his game and could be a goof addition o the team this season.
Against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s claim, it is understood that Chris Smalling is no longer interested in staying in England as he already fell in love with Rome and wants to return on a permanent basis.

The Guardian reports that AS Roma are now preparing to come up with a second offer but it is not reported if they will now meet the £18 million valuations or not.
Chelsea, Man United could be gearing for some transfer business
There are indications that Man United and Chelsea could do some players business before the end of this summer transfer window

- Chris Smalling’s stay at Man United coming to an end
According to Daily Express, more to the reason that these players are not in the plans of the club for this season, manager Frank Lampard is keen on the signature of Declan Rice and he must sell to be able to land him.
One player that is being monitored by the Red Devils, according to reports is Callum Hudson-Odoi and Manchester Evening News scouting writer David Alexander Hughes is of the opinion that the winger can be the ideal target for the Man United.
The fact that Man United are keen on a winger is not hidden from the public space and that gives Callum Hudson-Odoi the chance to having a stay in England as the Red Devils top target Jadon Sancho cannot be brought to the Old Trafford this summer window.
This signing is a must for Man United
A former Man United player Dimitar Berbatov has urged manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sign a defender that will partner with Harry Maguire at the defence this season.
This became a concern for Man United and the fans after their first Premier League game that ended in a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace. It was observed that more is expected from the club’s defence line-up to be able to avoid such results.
Dimitar Berbatov noted that Man United suffered a defeat against Crystal Palace because the goals they conceded were as a result of defensive errors, adding that the situation must be immediately resolved before another defeat comes their way again.

AS reports that the Catalans are not open to the option of giving out Ousmane Dembele on loan but will prefer to sell him on a permanent deal for £100 million, a fee the Red Devils will not be able to pay, even if he is top on the list.

However, the decision will be left to Arsenal to make as they are not interested in a loan move for Lucas Torreira as proposed by Atletico Madrid. This means any club willing to meet his asking price will have the deal.
Is Arsenal’s Coutinho chase over?
One player Arsenal were strongly linked with this summer transfer window is Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho but speculations of his move to the Emirates Stadium has been on the low.
Until the arrival of Ronald Koeman as Barcelona manager, Philippe Coutinho was tipped to have a return to the Premier League with his agent confirming it amidst strong interest from the North London club.
